Good afternoon. This is Mike Allison, Hopewell High School Principal. Today, the district was notified that one of our 12th grade students at Hopewell High School tested positive for COVID19. This student was last in our building on September 23, 2020. We have been in contact with the PA Department of Health, which will be engaging in contact tracing and communication with families. The District will follow the recommendations of the Department of Health and also provide additional disinfecting of the high school tonight and throughout the week. Please know that we are making every effort to keep the Hopewell Area School District students safe and to mitigate the risk of contracting COVID19. A parent letter regarding this information is posted on the blue banner on our website and a copy of this phone blast is also located on our website.

Good morning. This is Michelle Miller, Superintendent at Hopewell Area School District. On Tuesday, September 8, we are looking forward to welcoming our Vikings for a great school year. We will operate on a hybrid schedule with students attending 2-3 days each week. As a reminder, unless you have contacted the school to change days, students with the last name A-K will be in-person on September 8 and students with the last name L-Z will be learning remotely at home. A letter was emailed to parents today and also posted on the website. This letter has important information for parents regarding remote learning days, transportation, devices, and much more. Please read through this information and contact the school with any questions. This year will be different, but it also presents an opportunity for all of us to grow and find new and exciting successes. Thank you for your continued support and patience as we focus on the health and safety of our entire community as well as the academic growth of each of our students.
